Our family went to Flaming Gorge in July to go rafting on the Green River. It was lots of fun. Charli loved being outdoors and playing in the dirt, tasting the rocks, growling at the chipmunks, quacking at the ducks, etc. The best part was when she woke up her mom one morning by shoving a dead spider in her mouth followed by squeals of laughter after my shrill screams. Not only has she taken on her dad's good looks, but I'm afraid she's taking on his cunning personality too!
When we received a christmas card from an old dear roommate addressed to the Huntshaven family (read as one word with a sh sound). . . I realized that could be confusing. . . so to clarify what I meant (totally my fault) our last name is not Huntshaven. . . it is Hunt and this blog is Hunts Haven. A place where we share all the good, bad, and ugly. But mostly the good.

July 4, 2008
This morning we began our Independence Day celebration with an early drive from Bear Lake to West Bountiful for a yummy breakfast at Grandma and Grandpa Hunt's house with all of Johnny's family (except Johnny-- who had to work. . . and Melinda-- who had a date). All the cousins were color coordinated in their red, white, and blue-- so I thought it would make for a great photo op!
