Wedding Bells

Wedding bells are definitely ringing in our family. Melinda (johnny's sister) got married last week to Dallas Arnell. Charli got to get all curly and beautiful in a princess dress. She loved it-- once the sponge curlers were out and her mom stopped chasing her with a bottle of hairspray.

Next month, my brother Talon is marrying Erajessica-- 10 days after she arrives from Brazil. They are planning on living with us for the summer while Talon works at the State Park with Johnny.

And in June, my brother Trent is marrying Jennifer-- which I am excited to say -- I had a big part in. I work/went to school with her little sister Emily Stephens. We've become good friends and it finally hit us that we both had 2 siblings, single,living at home...so why not set them up. Bada bing...Bada boom... June 12th!

And I am so excited that I get to add more wedding attire to my maternity collection!

Charli's First Airplane Ride

So, I'm trying to catch up on recent major events-- I'll make it short and sweet! In February, Charli and I flew to Portland with Johnny for a boating conference. Charli did awesome on the plane, (except for throwing cranberry juice and ice all over the poor guy next to us). It was a fun getaway-- kind of. Charli got croup and was coughing all night in our bed. In between coughing and throwing up, we were able to have some fun. My parents came out for a couple days and we went to the zoo.

It's a girl!

So, we found out last week that we get another girl. . . sometime around July 27th! Charli is going to love having a baby sister. She practices with her baby all the time.

Johnny's ready to go!

SO. . . Johnny's picked up this new thing for hip-hop and rap music. He thinks he's a black man or something... He's got some awesome moves that I think are worthy of showing off. What do you think? Sorry the movie clip doesn't have sound.. but just imagine. "I'm ready to go... I'm ready to go right now...." I was lucky enough to get this short clilp. Isn't he cute?

Happy Halloween

We took Charli to get her pictures taken for Halloween. First, we tried pumpkins-- but she kept dragging them away. After several other attempts to get her to show off-- we had to settle for Elmo. That was the only thing that kept her occupied. So-- here we have Charli the Ladybug and Elmo. These were Charli's first "professional" pictures.

For Halloween, we will be taking Charli to the KOA in Garden City. I think she'll be all over the candy. Last night, we made "monster-cookies" and she liked decorating the cookies, but she LOVED eating all the candy toppings.
