When we received a christmas card from an old dear roommate addressed to the Huntshaven family (read as one word with a sh sound). . . I realized that could be confusing. . . so to clarify what I meant (totally my fault) our last name is not Huntshaven. . . it is Hunt and this blog is Hunts Haven. A place where we share all the good, bad, and ugly. But mostly the good.

Recent update
Kennedi has started rice cereal-- she likes it mixed with pear juice and likes to eat it while sucking her thumb-- which is so cute--but messy! I am so glad that she is such a good baby!! Charli dumped out her bubbles in the bathtub, so we tried something new. We put dish soap in a bowl with water and let her blow in it with a straw-- she had a blast! And it was awesome because when she was done-- she used a washcloth to clean up the table. However lately Poor little Charli has not been quite so chipper! Charli has been sick for the last 10+ days with a cold, sinus infection, reaction to antibiotic which includes a mouthful of sores which makes it impossible for her to eat anything but hot chocolate. We've spent over 100$ on medications that she can't/won't take. Is winter/sick season over yet? Oh wait--it's just beginning! Yea! I feel so bad for the poor little thing-- but I had to get out of the house-- so luckily I have a great husband who is taking his turn so that I can go to the library and blog. Hey-- when you live in Bear Lake-- it's the smallest things that make a big deal!
Crafty Me
So I never had any idea that I would be on the path to becoming the next Martha Stewart-- but I kind of feel like I am! Just kidding-- that couldn't be farther from the truth--- but I have been busy lately doing all sorts of fun crafts. I have to give credit to my sister-in-law Julie for the Cornocopia-- that was all her.. I glued it together. And I have to give credit to my sister Tara for introducing me to modge-podge (Johnny is really worried that I'm going to start modge-podging the walls and ceiling and floors) And finally I have to give credit to Studio 5 for some of the other ideas. These are just a few of my latest projects... (more to come) (Most people make stuff for people to see in their house--but since we don't really get many people visiting the north pole of Utah... I have to show them off on my blog)

Ladies in Red
So, now that I'm a stay at home mom-- I've got time to make all the cute little flowers and bows. I made these red flowers for the girls and thought I might as well go crazy taking pictures of them too. I love the girl thing-- maybe I shouldn't ever have boys....
(Sorry-- I'm lazy and I've only got an hour to do all my "internet stuff" at the library-- so you'll have to turn your head to look at some of the pictures)
Happy Halloween
For Halloween, Johnny and I got in on the fun with the kids. Johnny dressed up as Superman and so I had to go as his girlfriend-- Lois Lane. Charli was a beautiful sparkly ballerina and Kennedi was bundled up in a pumpkin. We went trick-or-treating at the KOA. I think I'm going to invest in some eskimo costumes for the whole family... Bear Lake in October is not weather for a cute little tutu... unfortunately.

Kennedi's Blessing
Baby Cecilia Elise
My sister-in-law Renata had another baby girl on September 15th. I have to say I was so jealous when I saw her dark black thick silky hair. . . because I couldn't take it anymore... I shaved my daughter's head! I never thought I would. . . but when she had 1/2 of her hair rubbed off on top and the left side of her head and a mullet growing down the back... I thought it would be better for her to just get a fresh clean start as a baldie. So, here's my gigantic baldie ( I can't believe how fast they grow!) and her newest cousin.
Charli's Summer Fun
These are random pictures of Charli this summer. . . We took a trip to the park with Charli's cousins Sage and Aubrey. We spent lots of time at the beach this summer feeding seagulls goldfish crackers (they love those), going on stroller rides, building sand castles, and enjoying the warm weather while it lasts. Charli got a mosquito bite under her eye and it looked like she had a black eye... poor girl! I was excited we got to take the girls on my favorite hike up to Bloomington Lake. I think our summer fun is officially at an end. But there are great things about Fall too like... our first nap by the fireplace which will be our new hangout place for the next 8 months!

4th of July
Charli and I took off to Grantsville for the weekend. She had so much fun. If you've never been to Grantsville for the 4th-- you are so missing out! We met up with the whole fam on Trent and Jennifer's lawn and watched the parade in the shade. Then we went over to the fair in the park and let Charli play around. We had a barbeque, played in the pool, rode the four-wheeler and watched the firework's from Grandpa's lawn. Oh... and the best part was having my prego belly transformed into a watermelon thanks to the work of my little sister Tiana. All while poor Johnny was out working late up in Bear Lake...
Getting Ready for Baby Kennedi
Summer Fun in Bear Lake
We are having a blast in Bear Lake. It's a great place to live in the summertime. Our friends, Emily and Isaac brought their little boy Eli up to go camping with us by the Lake. Charli and Eli had a great time camping together and playing at the beach. Charli loves to go and visit "Daddy's work", the Bear Lake Marina and look at all the fish. I'm sure that I'm bound to go into labor-chasing her around the docks one of these times. Johnny's family came up for the weekend and Charli loved having visitors-- so if you haven't been to Bear Lake recently-- you should come play with us!

Charli's 2nd Birthday
We celebrated Charli's 2nd birthday at the Willow Park Zoo. She had a blast! She got a pink and purple bike from her mom and dad. Her family and friends spoiled her with tons of fun gifts! The best part was when she hopped around the zoo like a kangaroo in her little pink tutu! We love her so much! She is talking like crazy! She can sing tons of songs by herself and she can recite her favorite stories. She loves to do things "by myself".
