When we received a christmas card from an old dear roommate addressed to the Huntshaven family (read as one word with a sh sound). . . I realized that could be confusing. . . so to clarify what I meant (totally my fault) our last name is not Huntshaven. . . it is Hunt and this blog is Hunts Haven. A place where we share all the good, bad, and ugly. But mostly the good.

Winter Fun
Snow Box: Charli had a fun winter play day indoors. We filled up a plastic box with snow and added some food coloring to it. We pulled out the beach bag and let her have at it. She loved it!
Ice-cicles: Outside of the kitchen window, there are ice-cicles and Charli loves knocking them down and sucking on them.
Ice Skating: For our Thurgood Family get together we went ice skating at the rec center in Bountiful. Charli was quite the little skater; she would "run" on the ice as we held her hands. Johnny was a pro- he could skate around holding Charli. I had to hold on to the side and hold her hand.. even then I struggled. I was excited that after an hour, I could turn around on my skates and do a 180. Come on, it's the little things for some of us. Charli and her cousin BreeAnna liked to hang out on the bleachers. Is that cute or what?
Bear Lake Polar Plunge
Johnny participated in the Bear Lake Polar Plunge this year. I have video of it- but I'm not sure how to upload it from our video camera. However, he is on Youtube- search for Bear Lake Polar Plunge and you can watch him jumping in. I totally would have been right by his side, but someone had to watch the kids, right? And when he was done, he went right back to work in the office sporting this awesome getup- soaking wet shorts and a pair of snow boots. Love it! (Luckily he came home for lunch and a change of clothes very soon after)
Happy Ending
This is slightly belated. . . but I had to finish off my story of Puerto Rico with a happy ending. We found THE best beach, no coral, and SUN!!! I even got a little bit of a tan and a tiny bit of burn! And then the next day we had to go home. Thanks to my awesome mom (who flew red-eye to New York to raise our stand-by priority to get us home) I was reunited with my girls. Yea!
